Clarence Vranish stared Cowboy Graphics in 2012. Asked by a friend to make a little steamboat to put on his motorcycle plate, (Wyoming doesn’t put one on.) Clarence complied, soon after more people asked for the decal. After contacting the University or Wyoming and getting the rights to manufacture and sell the Steamboat… business took off. Cowboy Graphics now makes from the tiny fingernail size all the way up to 36” Steamboats and many, many more designs.
Candi DeCoite started working for Clarence in 2014 when the business had grown to be more than he could handle alone. They became very good friends and maintained their friendship even after Candi began a full-time teaching career in 2017 and became a part-time employee.
Clarence lost his long battle with cancer in December 2023. Shortly before he passed away he sold Cowboy Graphics to Candi. Cowboy Graphics has always been her sanctuary, the place to go and create.
Thank you Clarence. You will always be missed and hold a special place in our hearts.
This is the printer that Clarence used to make the first 1.7” Steamboat.
